"The problem with the internet is that it's replacing masturbation as a leisure activity"
...Where to start? The internet has to be among one of the best inventions of all time. It is used by companies, adults, kids etc. Thanks to the internet I can write my silly blogs and have anyone read it.
But enough about that. what do I think of internet love? Off the top of my head, I can identify 2 common scenarios. Lets analyze each one and see what happens.
We have all heard of the following... the usual guy/girl who goes into a chat room and by mere chance finds someone of his interest. They begin chatting, sharing ideas, then talking, then meeting and VOILA! they click. Years later they're telling their wonderful story on the newspaper and we all just say AWEEE. THE END.
I dont see anything wrong with this. There are no rules on Love. To me, a couple that meet that way, are just as good as a couple who met at a club, a bar, a concert. There is an advantage though, because you get to know someone at a different level, before you connect at a physical one. It is wonderful to see how opportunities present themselves anywhere we look.
Like everything in life, there is a negative side. There are people who build a whole alternate life online. There are some who join chatrooms and internet societies, and make themselves out to be what they cant be in the real world. A girl, who lives in the USA and is deeply in love with a guy in FRANCE (random examples) and they have been together for years...but they havent met. They argue like couples do, they have breakups and makeups, and promise never ending love for eachother.
She hasn't been able to fly into his arms because McDonalds didn't give her the promotion she wanted, and he cannot fly to her because his MOTHER wont let him.
The problem with this story is that it starts becoming a fantasy. When you invest that much time into something like this, you begin to miss out on everyday real events around you. Longing for someone who is 100,000 miles away is taking you away from someone who might be 10 feet away. Putting that much time into a fantasy is like waiting for FEBRUARY 30TH to come...IT AINT GONNA HAPPEN.
Dreaming is good, but investing your life on something lacking total reality is not. Some people waste years of their lives on such fantasies, when they could have increased their social skills and chances in the world around them. If you are in an internet relationship, good for you. Just analyze yourself a little and see which scenario you are falling under.. first or second. A relationship is based on knowing the person, that includes physically. You cannot keep a relationship with someone you only know through chat and emails.
So does internet love work? YES and NO.

Jealousy
"The jealous are possesed by a mad devil and a dull spirit at the same time."
I recently broke up with my girlfriend. I could not stand how jealous she was all the time. Jealousy is like a cancer in a relationship.
NO i didnt cheat, or flirt, or lie, or sleep with anyone... I was always there.
When jealousy becomes a factor of arguments, sometimes theres little a person can do. I dont recall giving my ex reasons to be jealous of. It doesnt help to try to change a person, because some people do not change.
Jealousy is not necessarily caused by the other person's actions, but by someone's own insecurities. when a person has personal problems, when they have low self esteem, then their partner ends up paying for it.
The worst thing about jealousy is that its a downward spiral that just keeps taking you deeper and deeper. It does not go away, and it does not get better.
You cant make friends, you cant go anywhere and you cant do anything, because your jealous partner will start an argument.
It breaks the trust issue, which brings nonsense arguments; and it breaks the communication because of the lack of trust. Talking to a jealous person is like asking a blind man to see.
but can it be fixed? maybe with a lot of therapy.
If your relationship suffers from this, find someone who can help...for the benefit of the relationship... and if there is no help, then act civilized and walk away, because all people do in a relationship like that, is hurt eachother.

"Fighting for Love"
"Enemies as well as lovers, come to resemble each other over a period of time."
Every time I hear about a couple arguing, someone always says "they have to fight for their love." Same thing when someone cheats... people always fight for their love. hmmm it all sounds so romantic. There are always couples that argue everyday, but keep fighting to keep the relationship alive.
My question is "Is love something that requires fighting for?" shouldn't love come naturally? if two people love each other, then why do they have to fight for LOVE?LOVE and FIGHTING are like oil and water. The problem is that we all watch too many Hollywood movies and read too many romantic novels... or both.
In real life, RESPECT (read my take on Relationships) is the factor that should keep a relationship together. When respect has been lost, then there is nothing left to fight for. You cant love someone you lost respect for. Love should be a combination of DESIRE and RESPECT. You desire the person physically and emotionally, and you respect the person enough to want to be by their side and share moments with. When that is lost, all that is left is a chain of everyday arguments that are disguised by the word LOVE.
My point is that if you have to constantly fight to keep the relationship together, then there is no relationship to start with. Love shouldnt be mixed with all the negative emotions. When communication lacks, there goes what you had.
If you just found out that your relationship has more downs than ups... then do yourself a favor and move on. Stop making yourlife miserable, and taking the other person down with you. All the years of stress and anger that you keep accumulating are not healthy and wont do you any good.
STOP fighting for love, and go find a LOVE that doesn’t require fighting for.

Cheating!
"Eighty percent of married men cheat in America, the rest cheat in Europe"
I have mixed feelings about the cheating subject. Sometimes I tend to think that Men are as faithful as their options. Usually the woman who says "my husband doesnt cheat" is the one with a troll looking husband. Some men cheat because of lack of communication with their partners, some cheat beacuse they just don't want to break the relationship, and some just don't want to lose their house. =)
But cheating is everywhere, there's lots of women who cheat too. There are lots of married women who after years of something not working at home, decide to cheat.
Does everyone cheat? Theres the other side that says... NO, but everyone has the potential to be a cheater. All it takes is to break your point of tolerance (read my view on relationships). It is so easy for a person to cheat nowadays, thanks to the internet and all the things available.
Why cheat? why not just break it off? because unfortunately people are sometimes afraid that they will fail at their new adventure and will end up alone. I was so sure that everyone could be a cheater someday until A CERTAIN FRIEND proved me wrong. This guy is a good looking guy and yet he does not cheat. He will not even think about cheating, and he always has women approaching him, yet always found the strength to say no. Back to the mixed feelings. I guess it's easier to go the wrong way, but we should all have the strength to keep doing the right way.
If you don't want to be with someone...DON'T. Move on, Take the road that makes you happy. I will end this by saying that we should never take the other person for granted, because that is the number one problem on losing who we have. Try to keep the same level of attention and communication. I'll leave it as, everyone has the potential to be a cheater, but not everyone is.
I have a headache now,

Relationships
"Nature gave us one tongue and two ears so we could hear twice as much as we speak."
If I ever write a book ( I doubt it ), it will be based on my theories of what works and what doesn’t. Don’t worry guys, this is never going to happen, so I will not punish you with my silly ideas. My idea of having a true relationship that lasts forever depends on 3 key factors that together form something called RESPECT. A relationship has to have respect as a foundation. LOVE is a given, so we dont count it, for how can we have something when love is not a factor.
The 3 keys that I base a relationship on are: Trust, Communication and Sex. They work as a triangle or a tripod, and if one of them fails, then the other 2 will begin to fail too. I will explain further ( remember these are just my ideas).
So we start with TRUST. If a couple has trust, then the other things flow easily. It is the fact that your partner tells you something and you have no doubt that this person is saying the truth. This diminishes your level of STRESS, which makes you a happier person. Trust is meant to be on everything, as in "you trust he/she is not lying, or you trust he/she will not betray you". When trust begins to fail in a relationship, so does the triangle. Communication will fail because there is no trust and so will sex. You dont want to express yourself to someone you dont trust, and you certainly dont want to sleep with that person either. Point being, if there are trust issues in a relationship...Solve them!
We move on to COMMUNICATION. Communication is very very important too since we are human beings and our need to communicate has put us above other species. When 2 people find the common ground and are able to express themselves and talk problems out, then the relationship will be stable. More communication evolves into more trust to your partner, which once again reduces Stress in the relationship. When communication fails, so does the understanding for one another, and the arguments turn into fights, which turn into uglier things. You no longer trust your partner with your feelings and doubts because he/she will not understand you. Once again No sex for you when your partner is angry too... Hahaha.
Now we touch the last part which is Sex. This is something so intimate between 2 people that it requires a good sence of good chemistry. When you have someone you admire and love, and respect, and appreciate, but you dont desire him/her... Its called a friend. Your partner is your friend too, but to another level. One must always keep the other happy and understand his/her feelings and desires. We are all human, and we all have desires. When a couple is on the same channel, nothing keeps them happier than each other. There has to be communication, so each one can say what he/she wants, and there has to be trust, so that they both know that everything they do will be ok.
If a couple fails on this point (sex), then so does communication, and in the end, when he/she cheats on one another, so does the trust.
So a relationship is a triangle, and everything in a relationship works upon that triangle. I know there are other factors, but these are what i base a relationship on. Remember, if you have all 3, then you have RESPECT for yourself, for one another and for the relationship. Next time you have an argument... instead of blaming the other person for it, analyze yourself, and see what are you guys not doing to make it right. Which part of the triangle are you failing on.

Virginity
"It is one of the superstitions of the human mind to have imagined that virginity could be a virtue"
Hmmm... where to start.Society has always loved people who say "I saved myself until I was married". WOW that sounds so good, but, is it really a good Idea????
I really dont think so. Sexuality plays a big part in our lives. If it wasnt, then the Sex Industry would not be a Billion dollar industry. Im not talking about Porn alone, Im talking about Victorias secret, KY jelly's trillion commercials, the term sexy, etc.
So are we just a bunch of perverts? NO. Sex is the most normal thing in the world, but some cultures have it as a Taboo. OK so back to the virginity subject.
I think a person should lose their virginity when they feel mature enough to. I dont think a bunch of 11 year olds who are sexually active (like we see today) know what theyre doing. I think that women put so much stress on themselves as the years go by. Have you ever seen a 20 year old virgin before? or taken her out on a date? You cant even sneeze before she says "hey im a virgin ok? stop trying to make a move on me" Studies also show that women who start having sex at a very young age, are at greater risk to develop cervical cancer when they are older. Men who dont have sex also increase their chances of testicular cancer, and women who never breast fed do the same with breast cancer. Point being IF YOU DONT USE IT, YOU LOSE IT.
So when should a person lose her virginity? around 18 ( in theory only, because nowadays, nobody waits) if u wait until 18 u should also get an award hahhaa. Seriously though, I dont think anyone should wait until marriage. One should build a whole profile of experiences which help you mature. A person should also know if they are sexually compatible with their partner and be able to express themselves and find ways to maximize their time together... all this before they get married.
Society should also stop being harsh on the idea that women need to explore their sexuality too. A man who loses his virginity and has had many experiences is A REAL MAN!!! but a woman who does the same is a SLUTT. Is that fair? why must we be so hypocritical?
Have you ever had someone who sucks in bed??? exactly....now imagine waiting until you get married to find out how much he/she sucks. I think a person should have some idea of how to please your partner by the time you are married. It sounds very romantic if husband and wife sexually meet for the first time on their honeymoon... yeah, very romantic... The guy doesnt know where to put it, and the girl cries the whole night in a mixture of anxiety, pain, shock and joy because it is her first time. What a night.
So in conclusion, everyone should lose their virginity when they feel mature enough, and not out of peer pressure, or because everyone is doing it. We evolve as a society and times change. Sometimes what was good before is not good today. I do not by any means promote premiscuity.
